Working Holiday Visas

Working Holiday Makers (WHMs) helping out in fire-affected communities can now work there for longer and use that work to extend their stay in Australia. New measures mean WHMs who are contributing to bushfire recovery efforts can stay with the same employer for up to 12 months instead of 6; and paid or volunteer bushfire recovery work can be counted as ‘specified work’ for a second or third visa.
